The Guardians

As Guardians, we believe and follow the whole scriptures from Genesis to Revelations. We believe if you follow the Holy Bible diligently it will lead you to a life holy in the eyes of God (Elohim) and blessed by his promise of salvation. We do not believe in modern translations of the bible which tend to stray in meaning and purpose from the original scriptures/books. We do not pick and choose from the scriptures the things we like as almost all man made religions do to create a false doctrine of belief.

Just as Ten Commandments were giving to Moses to serve a moral campus for the ancient Israeli's in their covenant with God, the scriptures of the New Testament reveal to us the same moral code re-validated through Jesus, Yeshua the Messiah.

Below is a comparison of the Old Testament and New Testament:

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me
Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Exodus 20:4  Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.
1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Exodus 20:7  Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
1 Timothy 6:1 Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed.

Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Hebrews 4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this wise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works. 5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest. 6 Seeing therefore it remaineth that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief: 7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts. 8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day. 9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.
Matthew 19:19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not murder.
Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.
Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Exodus 20:15 Thou shall not steal.
Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
Matthew 19:18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness,

Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.
Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. 9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

We believe in rejecting modern holidays and traditions which are non-biblical or are reconstituted pagan holidays. We believe Jesus, Yehoshua the Messiah, was not born during the pagan holiday(s) surrounding the Winter Solstice/ Festival of Saturnalia and thus should not be celebrated during that time period. His true birthday falls on the Gregorian calendar date of September 11th. We believe the biblical holidays as written to be acceptable celebrations to both Jew and Gentiles. We do not believe in the deification of men nor the heretical views in which the apostles of Jesus are prayed to as intercessors or included in our worship to God.

As Guardians, we believe in confronting evil whenever possible. We do not believe in tolerance of evil or evil acts:

2 Corinthians 6:14 (KJV) "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"

James 4:4  Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.
