In the beginning

We know from the Bible that there was a definite beginning to our universe. The fact that the bible did not describe creation in modern scientific terms does not invalidate the story by any means. In fact, modern science has proven many of the elements of the creation story to be true. And as recent astronomical discoveries have shown, the universe is even more complex then ever thought. Only recently has science discovered real black holes do not exist after years of speculation. What else could science have postulated wrongly about? What about evolution! The fact that humans share similar DNA to certain animals doesn't disprove creation one bit. After all, we had the same creator who made all things.

Genesis 2:7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Scientific theory about the beginning of the universe will always be just a theory. That's because it does not stand up to what is know as the scientific method. Many of today's prominent atheist admit that much of their beliefs can not be supported by scientific evidence. Why is that? Because they can only rely on what is called the induction method when presenting their conclusions or hypothesis about the beginning of the universe.  Inductive reasoning makes broad generalizations from specific observations.

All though recent debates over the past decade between creationist and evolutionist have brought many new thoughts and discoveries to light, our faith should not pivot on the latest scientific argument or debates as validation. Science seems to thrive on replacement theory and will likely find a new replacement sooner or later for their  flawed cycling universe or eternally inflating universe. Also, we should not base our faith on humanism or popular social beliefs which change as much as the wind. The strength of our faith should be in God himself and not the intellectual arguments of the day.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
